Day 7

Old Settlers!

I spent most of today at Old Settlers, starting with the parade. It. Was. Hot. And not just toasty, but more like sweltering. I held out until Olathe North (my alma mater) marched, then I booked it home to enjoy some shade and air conditioning. I got home and my dad was watching the parade on tv! Shoot, why did I bother going down there and sweating like a pig?! I guess because you don't get coupons and other goodies while sitting on the couch!! :)

Don't mind if I do 'Eat mor chikin'! Yum!

Kodi has been talking about wanting to try Jazzercise one day. I'm in the business of making dreams come true. Hoping that her and I can join a class in a couple of weeks.

I love freebies!

Also, I'm quite sunburned today. Even my lips. Oi.

Until next time...

  1. It was so great to see my favorite Olathe daughter today and to find out that "the Scoop" was back on track! I have missed your blog and reading what's going on with you. Now you just need to inspire my favorite daughter to get on the stick and blog more often too!

  2. :) Well, I always enjoy spending time with you guys as well. I'll have to give Kodi a hard time for not blogging regularly... But I guess she has been pretty busy lately. I'll go easy on her I guess! ;)
