Today was frustrating for so many reasons. Let's just talk about traffic.

One reason I want a different job:

I'M SOOOO TIRED OF THE DRIVE!!!

It's about a 25-30 minutes, depending on if I'm coming or going... and of course if there are any accidents:

It's never a good thing when the highway is backed up onto the on ramp and you are hearing sirens. Two separate accidents on the way home today... the second one looked really bad. I so hope that I'm never on the other side of that issue... reason to be thankful, I suppose.

A rather unexciting day. But:

This little tiny leaf flew in my window while I was on my lunch. Perfect 65* outside. Lovin' the fall weather. Too bad I had to go back to work. 

(Also notice that my car just rolled over 57,000 miles. How sad. It's like watching a beloved family member age and knowing that it's all downhill now...Lol)

What a full day! Went to KZ's surprise birthday party and had lots of fun. They had sumo outfits for people to fight in. It was great to see a bunch of pacifists body slamming each other. All in the name of Jesus and fun.

We also had a 'Fall Family Festival' because my family is tight like that. We bobbed for apples, had relay races, face paint for the kids, and a scavenger hunt for the kids and another for the adults. It was great, the weather was perfect, and everyone had lots of fun!

So, you probably can't even see it, but there is a deer back there. I went with my dad and dog on a walk after dinner and we saw 3 deer just a couple of blocks from our house! How exciting. I didn't have my camera so the phone had to suffice. And even though I was only about 50 ft away, you can still barely see it! Oh well. We all know what deer look like, right? :)

A day to celebrate. #31

Well my grandma has been in town this week visiting us and today, her last day, we took her out to dinner to celebrate her birthday which is on sunday. Here is my bro and I with Grandma Old:
